WELCOME TO THE VIRTUAL USOLE BURGERS & BEER DISTANCE CHALLENGE (13.1 or 26.2 miles)...Due to COVID-19, many fun runs and races have been canceled or postponed to a later date. This includes our own USOLE Burgers and Beer Race that we do each July. We miss meeting up and running with everyone, so we are going to a virtual run where we invite everyone to be part of the USOLE Virtual Burgers & Beer 13.1 or 26.2 Mile Distance Challenge and complete solo (w/ Social Distancing guidelines adhered to) by July 31st, 2020. All participants registered and complete the distance challenge (virtually) will receive a custom B&B Distance Challenge Graphic Decal and a Virtual USOLE B&B Distance Challenge Tech T-shirt! Proceeds from this event will go to support My Block, My Hood, My City and all the great work they do in Chicago for underprivileged youth!

Virtual Race Beneficiary: My Block, My Hood, My City --  My Block, My Hood, My City provides underprivileged youth with an awareness of the world and opportunities beyond their neighborhood.  We take students on explorations focused on STEM, Arts & Culture, Citizenry & Volunteerism, Health, Community Development, Culinary Arts, and Entrepreneurism. Virtual Race Details:
  • All participants mush register and have the run completed by July 31st, 2020.
  • All participants registered will receive entry into the virtual B&B Distance Challenge, a custom Burgers & Beer Distance Challenge Premium Tech Running Shirt, a Custom Graphic Decal (13.1 or 26.2 mile) and entry into the weekly virtual raffle!
  • Be sure to sign up and run the Virtual USOLE B&B Distance Challenge by July 31st.  You have two distances to choose from, the 13.1 mile or the 26.2 mile. Then head out and run your favorite routes. You can race, run or walk the course. You can run the distances all in one day or you can break it up over multiple days and get the mileage in. You have all month long to complete your chosen distance! Go at your own pace and mileage and have fun while you are out and about enjoying the great Chicago summer! Once you are done, head in and crack open your favorite brew and enjoy a burger either ordered from your favorite restaurant or cooked to perfection from home! If you are in need of some fine brews (such as Odell Brews), our partners, Bitter Pops can deliver beer to your exact order very quickly (within the delivery boundaries)!
  • Once you have completed your distance challenge, we want to hear from you! Send us your mileage info and overall finisher time along with a photo of your Burger & Beer! Send that directly to us @ [email protected]. Your time will go in our virtual results. Once we receive your distance, time and photo, we will also enter you in the virtual raffle and then send out your medal and tech shirt.
  • We will have raffle prizes from Odell Brewing, Universal Sole Running Events and Bitter Pops Bottle Shop!
  • Our friends over at Broken Barrel Bar have offered a special USOLE Virtual Burgers & Beer Distance Special. For $10.00 you get the house Diner Burger/Fries & an ice cold Odell Brew (or substitute brew if they run out)! They also have a ton of other great food on the menu to order as well!
