WELCOME TO THE VIRTUAL USOLE BURGERS & BEER 5K...Due to COVID-19, many fun runs and races have been canceled or postponed to a later date. This includes our own USOLE Burgers and Beer Fun Run series. We miss meeting up and running with everyone, so we are going to a virtual run where we invite everyone to be part of the USOLE Virtual Burgers & Beer 5k and complete a solo 5k (w/ Social Distancing guidelines adhered to) by April 30th, 2020. All participants registered and complete the 5k (virtually) will receive a custom B&B 5k Medal (see pic) and a Virtual USOLE B&B 5k tech short-sleeve t-shirt! Proceeds from this event will go to support the Lakeview Pantry and all the good work they do in the community! Consider joining us virtually for the USOLE Virtual Burgers & Beer 5K!

Virtual Race Beneficiary: Lakeview Pantry --  Lakeview Pantry is one of Chicago’s largest and longest-operating food pantries. Our mission is to eliminate hunger and poverty in our communities by providing food to fill the basic need of hungry people, empowering our clients to achieve independence through social service programming, and raising awareness of hunger and poverty. Virtual Race Details:
  • All participants mush register and have the run completed by April 30th, 2020.
  • All participants registered will receive entry into the virtual 5k, a custom Burgers & Beer 5k Premium Tech Running Shirt, a custom B&B 5k finishers medal and entry into the virtual raffle!
  • Be sure to sign up and run the Virtual USOLE B&B 5k by April 30th.  Go out and run your favorite 5k course. You can race, run or walk the course. Once you are done, head in and crack open your favorite brew and enjoy a burger either ordered from your favorite restaurant or cooked to perfection from home! If you are in need of some fine brews (such as Odell Brews), our partners, Bitter Pops can deliver beer to your exact order very quickly (within the delivery boundaries)!
  • Once you have completed your 5k, we want to hear from you! Send us your 5k finish time along with a photo of your Burger & Beer! Send that directly to us @ [email protected]. Your time will go in our virtual results. Once we receive your time and photo, we will also enter you in the virtual raffle and then send out your medal and tech shirt.
  • We will have raffle prizes from Odell Brewing, Universal Sole Running Events and Bitter Pops Bottle Shop!
  • Our friends over at Broken Barrel Bar have offered a special USOLE Virtual Burgers & Beer 5k special. For $10.00 you get the house Diner Burger/Fries & an ice cold Odell Brew (or substitute brew if they run out)! They also have a ton of other great food on the menu to order as well! -Start at the old USOLE Run Shop - 3052 N. Lincoln
-Head South on Lincoln to Wellington. Left on Wellington.
-Head East on Wellington to Sheffield. Left on Sheffield.
-Head North on Sheffield (one block) to Barry. Left on Barry.
-Head West on Barry (quite a ways - you will cross Lincoln, Ashland, Ravenswood, Damen - use caution when crossing major streets!)
-West on Barry to Hoyne. Left on Hoyne.
-Head South on Hoyne (one block) to Wellington. Left on Wellington.
-Head East on Wellington back to Lincoln/Southport and finish up.
