Blackwell Forest Preserve Main Entrance on the north side of Butterfield Road, 1/4 mile west of Winfield Road and one mile east of Rt. 59. Nursery is on the north side of Mack Road and Williams Road (approx. one mile east of Rt. 59). Canoe Launch is on the south side of Mack Road (1/4 mile east of Rt. 59 and two miles west of Winfield Road. Launching from this area is into the West Branch of the DuPage River. (630) 933-7200 Mount Hoy is a Chicagoland running landmark. Walter Payton ran up the backside of the hill when staying in shape during the off-season. North Central College harriers can be found doing hill repeats on Mount Hoy every Wednesday afternoon. Many other local schools do the same.
