Great Awards: All runners will receive a technical short sleeve shirt. Shirts are NOT guaranteed to race day registrants. Packet Pick-Up During store hours from Thursday, October 18th, through Saturday, October 20th. Race Day Packet Pick-Up Race day packet pick-up will be at Pulaski Woods Grove from 7:30 AM to 8:25 AM. The race will START at 8:30 AM sharp. COURSE The DeTonty 50K course is fun and challenging. You will experience Psycho Path, Dynamite Rd., The 3 Ravines and Gravity Cavity, Rock Bottom Path plus the scenic vistas of Bull Frog lake while running this exciting race. The scenic course starts and finishes at Pulaski Woods grove #1 shelter. The course follows the multi-use bike/hike trails and the single track trails in Palos Woods division of the Cook County Forest Preserve District. The course will follow sections of the blue, green, black and brown trails but is run mostly on the orange trail. The course will be marked with signs and flagging and we will have key miles marked. The course will consist of three 10.33 mile loops. The course will be open to bike, hikers and other runners. You will be expected to respect other trail users during the run. Each member of the relay teams will run one 10.33 mile loop. The relay exchange will be at the start/finish area. AID STATIONS Water, Ultima Replenisher, Clif Shot, Clif Bars, pretzels and other snack food will be provided 4 times on the course. Participants will have the option of one feed drop per loop on the course. All finisherıs and every member each relay team will receive a finisherıs award. For the safety of all runners, participants are NOT allowed to run with strollers, baby joggers or animals. Directions and Parking lnfo. Pulaksi Woods Grove is located in the Palos division of the Cook County Forest Preserve District. The entrance is located South of Archer Ave (RT 171) and 95th Street on Wolf Rd. From Chicago Take I-55 south to LaGrange Rd south. Follow Lagrange south to Archer Ave.(RT 171) south. Follow to 95th Street. Left turn onto 95th follow south up hill, stay to right onto Wolf Rd. and Forest Preserve entrance. Continue south of Wolf to Entrance to Pulaski woods. From Western Suburbs (west of RT83) o Take I-55, I-88, Ogden Ave or any other major east/west road to Rt-83. Go south on RT-83 to intersection of Grant Rd/107th St and Archer Ave.(RT 171). Follow to 95th Street. Left turn onto 95th follow south up hill, stay to right onto Wolf Rd. and Forest Preserve entrance. Continue south of Wolf to Entrance to Pulaski woods. From Tri-State Tollway north (I-294) Take I-294 south to Archer Ave. (RT 171) south. Follow to 95th Street. Left turn onto 95th follow south up hill, stay to right onto Wolf Rd. and Forest Preserve entrance. Continue south of Wolf to Entrance to Pulaski woods. From Tri-State Tollway south (I-294) Take I-294 north to 95th Street west. Follow 95th st west (about 4.75 miles) to Forest Preserve entrance, left turn at fork in road. South on Wolf Rd.. Continue south on Wolf to Entrance to Pulaski woods. Race Results Race results will be available on-line at www.chicagoaa.com and www.universalsole.com within 36 hours of the race. Official results will be mailed out within 7 days of the event.
