COURSE
The LakeFront 10 features a fun, scenic course. The race starts on Montrose Ave. at Simonds Dr., near the Montrose Harbor Beach house. The course leads north along the lakeshore, then turns south just past Foster Ave. beach. You will continue south past Cricket Hill, Belmont Harbor and down to Fullerton Ave. Circling Diversey Harbor, the course returns north on the lake front path to the finish line at Montrose beach house.
Mile markers and splits will be given at each mile. The course is USATF certified, certificate # IL-02024-JW.

WATER AND AID STATIONS
Water and Power-aid Replacement Drink will be provided at the start/finish area and on the course.
Aid stations will be near mile markers1, 3, 5, 7 9 and Clif Shot Bloks Clif Shot energy Gel will be on the course.
AWARDS
All finishers will receive a commemorative finishers medal. Top Three M/F Overall will receive Reebok merchandise, and top three M/F in the following age groups receive Reebok commemorative awards: <14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 AND OVER.

Prize money breakdown is as follows open men and women 1st place=$300, 2nd place=$200, 3rd place=$150, 4th place=$100, 5th place=$50. $100. bonus to all runners who run under the current course records of 49:24 (2006) for men and 59:04 (Jamie Krzyminski 2006) for women.

Once again all pre-registered participants receive Reebok‘s® Play Dry®, long sleeve, moisture wicking, performance shirt.
Shirt sizes are not guaranteed.

EVENT PACKET PICK-UP
Packet Pick-up will be at Universal Sole, 3052 N. Lincoln Ave (1.5 blocks south of the corner of Lincoln/Belmont/Ashland). Plenty of Street parking plus 2 City of Chicago lots (located on Greenview north of Lincoln and Barry St west of Lincoln. Each 1/2 block from store) Packet pick-up starts TUESDAY, April 22nd at noon and continues until SATURDAY, April 26TH 6 PM during store hours. Universal Sole Store hours Mon-Fri 10 AM to 8 PM, Sat. 10 AM to 6 PM, Sun. Noon to 5 PM. IF YOU REGISTER ONLINE AFTER 6 PM ON MONDAY, APRIL 21st PLEASE WAIT 24 HOURS TO PICK-UP YOUR RACE MATERIALS.
